Annual Membership Meeting
Election of Board of Directors

The Annual Meeting of the Membership is held in March each year.   Members are encouraged to attend the meeting.  Finger food is served. The past year at a glance will be presented by the current board members. The new board of directors are elected at this meeting.

Election of Board of Directors – The nominating Committee nominates FWP Members for election to the Board.  The Nominating Committee reserves the right to add additional nominees (late nominees) between the date of the announcement letter and the Annual Meeting. Nominees from the floor are acceptable at the Annual Meeting.

Proxy – If you are unable to attend the Annual Meeting and would still like to participate, the Board of Directors requests your Proxy by completing and returning the attached Proxy form to the Theatre in the enclosed Membership Renewal envelope (or separately, if you so select).

Board of Director Candidates – FWP has always strived to balance our Board of Directors between “actors” and people with business backgrounds.  We are always seeking more Board Members with business backgrounds or other talents that could be of benefit to the Theatre

Board members spend approximately 3 hours a month in the board meeting,  Additional requirement is for committee chairmanship or officer position.  After that whatever time they elect to take on some of the management tasks necessary to run the theatre.  Each board member is responsible for being House Manager for one assigned performance for each play and make the pre-show curtain speech.  It is desirable for board members to attend Premiers and special functions of the theatre.

Anyone interested in serving on our Board of Directors, please contact the box office at 727-446-1360 and leave your name and telephone number at the box office.  A member of our nominating committee will contact you.  Now is the time to get on the 2009 ballot.
