As the
sponsors of our Premier Performances the Francis Wilson
Playhouse is fortunate to have a group of ladies which we
have named our "First Nighters.” These twelve terrific
ladies are chaired by Patti Baldwin and personally do all
of the marketing for their Premiers and sell all of the
tickets themselves. They choose a decorative theme and
host the evening for our patrons on these special
occasions.

The results
are readily visible around us. Our new air conditioning
systems, new front curtain, the refurbishment of our rest
rooms and our dressing room lights and many other
technical and aesthetic updates were all made possible by
their efforts. We are delighted to have them as part of
the Francis Wilson Playhouse family.
The First Nighters are a dedicated group of women who
believe that a live theatre experience should be a very
special occasion. Twice during each theater season they
hold Gala Champagne Premiers to benefit the
Francis
Wilson Playhouse. Food which includes finger-foods,
deserts and champagne are joined by the pleasure of a live
musical theatre production.
The First Nighters had a very successful season, we saw a lot
of new faces at each premier, people attending and
supporting our cause. They are really delighted with the
response to their Premiers. With your patronage they have
been successful and able to benefit the Playhouse by
providing much needed updates.
